We are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Association of Project Managers and are locally connected, giving us a strength which lies in intimate market knowledge coupled with a global best practice perspective in delivering international standards.
Chris is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with twenty-five years construction and valuation experience in the UK, and throughout the Caribbean.
Chris began his career and qualified whilst in London, working for two of the big five global Quantity Surveying and built asset consultancies. Arriving in the Caribbean in 2004, Chris was based in The Turks and Caicos Islands, working for BCQS International and gaining experience in TCI, The Bahamas and Jamaica.
Chris gained Directorship of the new St. Lucia office in 2008, giving him exposure to the wider Eastern Caribbean. In 2012, Chris then spent three years in Barbados heading up the Property Sector Department for the entire region as Director of Risk Management, for CIBC First Caribbean International Bank, gaining invaluable experience in the pan-Caribbean property and lending markets.
Having worked in over eighteen Caribbean Islands, and identifying a space for improved and consistent consultancy services, Chris founded Intersurv in 2015, successfully delivering construction and secured lending advice on well over US$ 100M worth of construction and property financing to date over several Caribbean jurisdictions.
A graduate of Kingston University, Chris is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).
Ian is a highly experienced Project and Construction Manager with a proven track record in successfully delivering excellence over a broad range of projects.
Having spent the first years of his career gaining valuable experience at the giant UK building firms Tarmac, Costain Ltd and Kier Ltd, including two-years in the Middle East, Ian moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2000 as Project Director with Johnston International and worked on several prestigious assignments.
Based in Barbados since 2002, Ian successfully completed the 11 storey north tower at the Hilton on Carlisle Bay for Johnstons before taking up a fifteen year role as Construction Director at the high-end Royal Westmoreland Golf Community and Country Club, responsible for the delivery of luxury town homes and villas to a discerning clientele.
Partnering with Intersurv, Ian has identified Barbados as one of our markets of interest, successfully introducing new Clients to the practice by delivering high quality construction and cost advice.
With a degree in Building Engineering and Management from the University of Brighton, Ian is also a Member of the Association of Project Management (MAPM).

Harrison Surveying
St Lucia
Director of Harrison Surveying, Ian Harrison is a highly experienced Project Manager/ Quantity Surveyor, responsible for delivering Network Partnership services in St. Lucia.
With a tertiary education in Civil Engineering at the University of Plymouth, UK, Ian began his career with some of the UKs leading Contractors including Balfour Beatty and Trafalgar House.
In 1997, Ian moved to the Caribbean to represent Trinidadian company, NH International, where he worked for four years, not only in St Lucia, but also in Nevis and Jamaica. After a two year spell back in the UK, Ian joined Cotton Bay Resorts in St. Lucia, as Commercial Director, successfully delivering several beach front residential projects.
Working with banks and developers on a number of distressed assets, Ian saw an opportunity to start up Harrison Surveying in 2009, and as investment returns to the Eastern Caribbean, is currently working on a number of exciting projects as the business grows, including Sugar Beach, Cap Estate residences, as well as government housing schemes.
Ian’s relationship with Intersurv began in 2018, and continues to yield opportunities in the construction and property valuation markets.
Michael Sankar
Director of Harrison Surveying, Ian Harrison is a highly experienced Project Manager/ Quantity Surveyor, responsible for delivering Network Partnership services in St. Lucia.

Since graduating, Michael has worked in a number of premier hospitality locations in St. Lucia, notably Le Sport - The Body Holiday and Windjammer Landing Resort, being an integral team member for delivering renovation and expansion projects under challenging conditions, while maintaining control of project budgets and timelines and keeping the desired quality of workmanship.
Michael has since co-founded Foresight Property Management and Consultancy Services in 2022 and has joined Intersurv at a pivotal time as the Network Partnership seeks to expand its operations into St. Lucia on a full-time basis.

Michael prides himself in taking a practical approach to the execution of projects, while managing the relevant stakeholder’s expectations.

A graduate of South Bank University and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor for over 27 years, Russell began his professional career at Franklin & Andrews in London, UK before moving to CBRE to work in their Building Consultancy Department as an in-house cost consultant and specialist in Capital Allowances and Property Reinstatements. Russell moved to the Caribbean in 1996, joining CASL, as Quantity Surveyor and Valuer, and taking over ownership and leadership of the company in 1999.

Tamara has a good understanding of commercial property gained working with Beaches and additional experience of the legal aspects of property transactions whilst working with McCollum & Newlands.
She gained a good understanding of the public sector approach to property valuation and management whilst at the Turks & Caicos Islands Government and she continues to have good working relationships with the relevant Government Departments that can assist with the provision of property information in TCI.
As CASL transitions into a professional relationship with Intersurv in TCI, Tamara continues to be instrumental in delivering property valuation advice to a variety of Clients, including homeowners, commercial property owners, lenders, government departments, institutions and developers.

Raeh Williams is a Chartered Professional Surveyor and Managing Director of Williams Surveying, our Network Partner in The Bahamas.
Having studied at Reading in the UK, Raeh leads her team with over 15 years of experience, having previously worked at DHP Associates as well as The Bahamas Government.
Raeh has worked on many landmark projects providing Quantity Surveying services and related disciplines such as measurement and financial administration, cost control and analysis, project management/ administration and providing contractual advice.
Raeh’s experience includes providing cost and valuation advice on a number of different property types including but not limited to single family homes, luxury homes and condominiums, schools, small island airports, hurricane recovery installations, as well as commercial and governmental office developments.
Raeh has worked with Intersurv over recent years on a number of projects in The Bahamas over several islands and property types, demonstrating her attention to detail and commitment to time deadlines, making her a highly valued Network Partner.
Raeh is a member of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
Ron is a Quantity Surveyor and Chartered Construction Quantity Surveyor with forty years construction and Loss Adjusting experience in the UK, Canada, and the Americas. Graduating with the advanced City and Guilds of London Institute and ULCI diploma, Ron travelled to New Zealand to pursue his construction consultancy career.
Several years later, Ron moved to Canada within the insurance arena, working directly for major insurance companies, independent adjusting firms and building consultants as a loss adjuster / Construction Quantity Surveyor. Ron’s career developed to include residential, commercial and agricultural buildings, as well as healthcare and educational facilities. Ron has also been involved in dispute resolution and quantum control and specialises in reinstatement valuations, risk/ loss control inspections and consulting.
Ron has handled complex catastrophe damages throughout Canada and the US. Ron returned to the UK briefly in 2015 following flooding and then moved on to The Bahamas in 2015 and The British Virgin Islands in 2017. In 2019 Ron was tasked with quantifying damages in the Abaco region following the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian, to the value of circa US$150M.
